Dirty Dingy Dar - not window - smelly place

Dirty, Dark and Dingy - not a good value for your money, the room had no window, it was dark and the check in staff was not helpful, it felt unsafe, creepy at times and the taxi driver would not come to hotel front - because the access to hotel front door is not possible as the streets are so narrow and already filled with parked cars- if you have baggage be prepared to drag them 500 feet to the hotel entrance.

The location and cleanliness are unquestionable. The main drawback is the elevator access to the bigger rooms, which located on the 6th floor that requires a hike of steep stairs from the fifth floor. This trip I brought my uncle with me who had his knee surgery. It was not easy for him. I also booked a deluxe twin room (300 sq ft) through booking.com but they gave me a standard double room (200 sq ft) instead, without mentioning at check-in. We asked to fix it the following morning but we were treated with an answer that it was a last minute booking (which is not true because my non-refundable payment was made 4 weeks ago), and we were gently reminded that we can cancel the booking then find another place to stay. Call and message booking.com customer service for 3 days but getting no help. Not recommend this hotel to first time visitor to Thailand. Look for another place for your Amazing Thailand experience.

Convenient location to 2 train lines, malls, massage & entertainment. Friendly staff at reception & housekeeping, and adequate functional amenities in rooms. There's a bidet in the toilet, and the shower works well. Best of all, rooms are quiet despite being close to clubs/ nightspots.

Conveniently located just a few steps away from Sala Daeng, tucked quietly in the bustling area of Silom/Bang Rak district, this hotel is worth the booking. If you're looking for a no-frills type of hotel (I'm not really into breakfast buffets, mini-bar, high-floor-overlooking-the-skyline room, swimming pool), then you'd love this place!

This very simple hotel is ideally situated for tourists exploring Bangkok because the Skytrain is only 5 minutes away at Sala Deng station and the metro is less than 10 min juts away at Silom station. And across Silom Road is the Silom Complex with shops and restaurants. The rooms are plain but comfortable and scrupulously clean, there's TV, a fridge, coffee/tea makings and a safe. Bedding is high quality. Receptionists are charming, helpful and welcoming. And a big double room costs only ThB 1500 a night. But there's no breakfast, Wi-fi on the sixth floor is useless though it is fine elsewhere
